8:00 AM pickup from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. Begin one of Morocco's most scenic journeys, crossing the spectacular High Atlas Mountains. First stop: Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2,260 m), Morocco's highest mountain pass — enjoy 15–20 minutes of panoramic views over winding roads and traditional Berber villages. Continue to the legendary UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Benhaddou, a perfectly preserved fortified village and backdrop for Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and many international productions. Continue to Ouarzazate to visit Kasbah Taourirt, one of Morocco's finest preserved kasbahs. After breakfast, explore the incredible natural beauty of the Dades Valley — the 'Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs'. Visit the Monkey Fingers, extraordinary rock formations sculpted by wind and erosion, and enjoy a short walk through this fascinating geological landscape. Continue to the dramatic Dades Canyon, where towering cliffs and winding mountain roads create spectacular panoramic viewpoints. Later, visit the magnificent Todra Gorge — one of Morocco's most impressive natural wonders, where towering limestone cliffs rise over 300 metres on both sides of a crystal-clear river. Enjoy a relaxing walk through the gorge before returning to Dades Valley for lunch at a local restaurant. Spend the afternoon relaxing in the peaceful mountain surroundings. 8:00 AM departure. First stop: the beautiful oasis town of Tinghir, surrounded by thousands of palm trees and traditional mud-brick villages — one of southern Morocco's most picturesque oases. Continue to Todra Gorge for additional time to walk beneath the towering canyon walls. Travel onward to Arfoud, a desert town renowned for its fossil workshops and delicious date palms. Arrive in Merzouga as the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi appear on the horizon. Leave your vehicle and begin an unforgettable camel trek across the magnificent dunes as the sun sets, painting the desert in shades of gold and orange. Arrive at your luxury desert camp for a warm welcome, traditional Moroccan dinner beneath the stars, and live Berber music around the campfire. Overnight in luxury desert camp, Merzouga. Wake early to witness a breathtaking Sahara sunrise as the first rays of light illuminate the golden Erg Chebbi dunes — reaching up to 150 metres high. After breakfast at camp, enjoy a full day experiencing the magic of the Sahara. Optional activities include: camel riding across the golden dunes, sandboarding down the soft desert slopes, 4×4 desert excursion to hidden desert landscapes, visiting a traditional nomadic family, and experiencing the rich rhythms of Gnawa music in Khamlia Village. As the afternoon ends, climb one of the highest dunes to admire one of Morocco's most spectacular sunsets. After breakfast, leave the Sahara behind. First stop: the historic town of Rissani, once an important caravan trading center linking Morocco with the Sahara and sub-Saharan Africa. Wander through its authentic traditional market, discover local handicrafts, spices, and dates. Continue through breathtaking desert scenery into the magnificent Drâa Valley — Morocco's longest oasis valley, stretching over 200 km and lined with millions of palm trees, ancient kasbahs, and charming Berber villages. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant overlooking the oasis landscapes. Arrive in the peaceful oasis town of Agdz, located at the entrance to the Drâa Valley, surrounded by palm groves and historic kasbahs with beautiful views of the Anti-Atlas Mountains. After breakfast, depart Agdz northward through spectacular desert landscapes past traditional Berber villages and palm-filled oases. Arrive in Ouarzazate for a visit to the world-renowned Atlas Film Studios — the largest film studio in Africa. Explore impressive movie sets used in Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, The Mummy, Game of Thrones, and many other international productions. Continue across the High Atlas Mountains, stopping for a coffee break with spectacular mountain scenery. Arrive back in Marrakech in the late afternoon or early evening. Overnight in Marrakech.
