Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Marrakech → Essaouira

8:00 AM pickup from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. Scenic drive west toward the Atlantic (~190 km / ≈ 3h) with a coffee break and a visit to a Women’s Argan Oil Cooperative — Morocco’s famous “Liquid Gold.” Arrive in Essaouira around 11:00 AM. Explore Skala de la Ville (18th-century bastions & bronze cannons), the UNESCO Medina’s white-and-blue alleyways, artisan workshops, and the colorful fishing port. Free time for a fresh seafood lunch. Evening recommendation: horseback ride along Essaouira Beach at sunset. Overnight in Essaouira.

Day 2

Essaouira → Imsouane → Timlalline → Agadir

Relaxed morning, then depart Essaouira around 10:00–11:00 AM along Morocco’s scenic coastal road (~180 km / ≈ 3.5–4h excluding stops). Discover Imsouane — a peaceful fishing village and world-famous surf bay with one of the longest waves in Africa. Free time for lunch with ocean views. Continue to Timlalline Sand Dunes where golden dunes meet the Atlantic — sandboarding, camel rides, quad biking, dune walks, and a spectacular ocean sunset. Evening transfer to Agadir. Overnight in Agadir.

Day 3

Agadir → Paradise Valley → Tigouder → Agadir Oufella

After breakfast, head into the High Atlas foothills (~120 km / ≈ 3h round trip). Explore Paradise Valley — palm groves, crystal-clear natural pools, and scenic hiking trails. Continue to Tigouder to discover the ancient Amazigh Igoudar (fortified communal granaries), one of the world’s earliest communal banking systems. Return to Agadir for a short hotel break, then visit Agadir Oufella Kasbah in the evening for panoramic sunset views over the marina, beaches, and mountains. Overnight in Agadir.

Day 4

Agadir → Marrakech

Relaxing morning on Agadir’s sandy beach — swim, stroll the promenade, or enjoy coffee with ocean views. Before departure, visit Souk El Had, one of the largest traditional markets in North Africa (3,000+ shops: spices, leather, ceramics, handicrafts). Afternoon drive back to Marrakech (~250 km / ≈ 3h), arriving in the evening — end of your Atlantic Coast Adventure.
